Medical Resources

Franklin-McKinley School District has established partnerships with Foothill Health Clinic, Healthier Kids Foundation, and various community-based organizations to provide families with options at little to no cost for immunizations and checkups. Please see below for a list of medical organizations and how to access their services.
    
Foothill Community Health Center
Provides comprehensive, high quality, and affordable healthcare to the community. All patients are welcome regardless of ability to pay. Convenient evening office hours are available M-F until 10pm, with language capabilities in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

Services provided at their community clinics include Medical, Dental, Counseling, and Women's Health.  

Insurance programs accept Medi-Cal/Medicare, Child Health and Disability Program (CHDP), Every Woman Counts (known as The Cancer Detection Program or CDP), Family PACT, Private Health Insurance, & Early Access to Primary Care (EAPC). Franklin-McKinley Neighborhood Health Clinic
Franklin-McKinley Neighborhood Clinic is part of the School Health Clinics in Santa Clara County. The clinic focuses on serving low income, uninsured, and medically underserved children from infancy to age 19 (must be residents of Santa Clara County). The clinic has bilingual English/Spanish medical assistants and licensed physicians to serve the community.

The clinic provides the following services: urgent care, physical exams, sports physical exams, monitoring and treatment of chronic diseases, diabetes, asthma, immunizations, lab tests, assistance with enrollment in low cost health insurance, reproductive health, mental health services, prescriptions, dental services, nutrition counseling, health education, and health navigation assistance. Healthier Kids Foundation
The mission of Healthier Kids Foundation is to ensure access and advocacy for health care services for children in Santa Clara County by engaging in resource development, programming, and outreach on behalf of underserved community members.  

Programs and services include 10 steps to a Healthier You, Baby Gateway Project, Childhood Obesity Prevention, Community Outreach Program, The Prevention, and Education (COPE) Program, and Dental, Hearing & Vision Screenings. For more information or appointments call, please call (408)564-5114.
