My name is Mayra Dominguez-Castillo or Ms. Dominguez. I am so excited to become a part of the Santee community as a fourth grade teacher. Even though I started working at Franklin-McKinley School District in 2021, I have been teaching since 2016. Before becoming a part of the Santee family, I worked for Rocketship as a lower grade teacher and previously worked for the Alum Rock School District as well as the Santa Clara Unified School District.

I enjoy working with students and helping them reach their full potential and gain more confidence, not just academically but all together as a person. When I am not teaching, I like to spend my free time with my son, out and about exploring and traveling.
