I was born and raised in San Jose, CA. My first language was Korean, and I spent most of my elementary school years in "English as a Second Language" classes. I graduated from Southern Adventist University with a degree in psychology and a minor in biology. I received my teaching credential from San Jose State University. I have been teaching here at Santee since 2007. I love the fact that I am able to make a difference in my students' lives. I have also learned that they make a huge difference in my life as well. Every year I am excited to meet my new students and families and can't wait to begin our journey in the classroom as a community.
