I was born in India and had my education there. Basically I was a science student and did my major in Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry. Later on for my master's degree, I switched to English Literature. I am fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu as well. I taught high school in India for many years. I love to read and I love to travel.
I love my students. I always try to do my best for them. I enjoy teaching them and feel great pleasure in doing so. I don't know if I am making a difference in their lives, but they have certainly made a great difference in my life. Every moment they teach me how to teach them.
My other love is writing. I have published two books in Punjabi poetry. I write columns regularly for an Indian weekly newspaper in Punjabi. I also write columns for a magazine. I look forward to publishing a book of prose. I love my school. I've been at Santee since 2006 and I cannot imagine teaching at any other school.
