"Los Dichos" is a program at Santee run by Ms. Elsy Martelli (Santee's Community Liaison) and parent volunteers. They come in to different classrooms, once a month and read a story to students, in both Spanish and English. That is then followed up by an activity related to the book. If you are looking for a way to get involved at school, this is definitely a great way.
