SEAL Sobrato Early Academic Language
Our school employs SEAL (Sobrato Early Academic Language) strategies in our kindergarten through third-grade classrooms. We immerse our students in a language-rich environment and engage students in thematic-based learning to build their literacy and foster their language development. Our thematic units align with the latest NGSS and History–Social Science Content Standards.
At the end of every unit, parents and families are invited into our classrooms to see all that our students have learned and accomplished in an end of unit "gallery walk."
