I am Mexican and was born and raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco MX. I attended Universidad de Guadalajara and moved to the USA when I got married. For half of my life I've lived here in the Bay Area - Oakland, San Francisco, Hayward, and San Jose. I attended San Jose City College and I continuously update my library skills by attending all trainings and workshops that the county and FMSD has to offer. 

 

Before coming to Santee as a Media Aide in 2014, I was a librarian at Franklin Elementary School for seven years. I love being a part of Santee's team and enjoy working with all. I assist teachers and students in conducting research and finding information using computers and library resources. It's great to be working at Santee and I am happy to be of service all the time!
