I was born and raised in the Bay Area and went to Cal State Hayward where I got my bachelor's degree in liberal studies and continued on to obtain my teaching credential. I've worked at Santee since 2004. I taught kindergarten and first grade up until 2014 when I transitioned into my role as Santee's SEAL coach. As a mom of three kids, I understand the challenges that both parents and teachers face and I keep this in mind as I navigate through my job every day.
