Welcome to third grade!

 

In third grade, our students will work towards becoming motivated dreamers, innovators, and leaders. Third graders will develop their skills in reading, focusing on spelling patterns, reading fluency, and comprehension. Students will be expected to write narrative, informative, and opinion pieces. In math, we focus on multiplication and division concepts and strategies, as well as providing connections with how math in the class can be utilized in the real world. With the technology available, the students will research and have the opportunity to showcase their personalized learning.

 

Some tips for success is to come to school prepared, remember to read at home, and practice addition and multiplications facts everyday.
