Over 100 second through sixth grade students were treated to an ice cream social hosted by Shop With a Cop. Special guests included San Jose police officers and a firefighter who drove in on a Sharks-themed fire engine. 

 

The San Jose police department served up the ice cream from their very own ice cream truck. Not only did students just indulge in sweet treats, but they also had a blast talking with our local community heroes. It was a nice celebration to recognize all their hard work in reading.
